East Waluga Park Invasive Removal – Nov 9, 2019

Join Friends of Waluga Park as we work to remove invasive yellow flag iris from East Waluga Park. This nasty invasive was originally planted as an ornamental but has begun spreading throughout the park. We need to remove it before it reaches our precious wetlands.

Please meet at East Waluga Park and wear long-sleeves, sturdy shoes and work gloves. 

Children under 18 will need a signed parental release form.

Please meet at East Waluga Park and bring sturdy shoes and work gloves. Children under 18 will need a signed parental release form.

Spreading Gravel on Trail

Calling All Wheelbarrows! Trail Graveling at East Waluga Park, Mar 11

We need wheelbarrows and people to help spread gravel onto the main trail between East and West Waluga Parks. Join us as we work to raise this much-loved trail out of the wetlands.

Can’t stay? We need your wheelbarrow! Please drop off your wheelbarrow (clearly labeled with your name) at 9:30am and pick it up at 11:30am. This will help us spread more gravel!

Please meet at East Waluga Park and bring sturdy shoes, work gloves and your wheelbarrow (if possible). Children under 18 will need a signed parental release form.

East Waluga Park Work Party – Feb 25, 2017

Join Friends of Waluga Park as we work to improve one of the most popular trails on the west side of Lake Oswego. We’ll be removing vegetation and improving the trail between East and West Waluga Parks.

Please meet at East Waluga Park and bring sturdy shoes and work gloves. Children under 18 will need a signed parental release form.

Young children are welcome to help by pulling garlic mustard, a non-toxic invasive herb.
