Join Friends of Waluga Park as we work to remove invasive yellow flag iris from East Waluga Park. This nasty invasive was originally planted as an ornamental but has begun spreading throughout the park. We need to remove it before it reaches our precious wetlands.
Please meet at East Waluga Park and wear long-sleeves, sturdy shoes and work gloves.
Children under 18 will need a signed parental release form.

There is a major renovation project on Boones Ferry. It will constrict traffic movements, divert traffic, cause delays and back up traffic into neighborhoods like ours. Work is expected to take about two and a half years to complete. Be careful in this area.
As a result of potential impacts to our neighborhood a permanent speed feedback sign will soon be installed on Quarry Road.
For more information, visit www.boonesferryproject.org, email info@boonesferryproject.org, or call 503-697-6573. You can also follow the city on social media with #boonesferryproject and #followthebluecones!
There is also a major construction in progress just off Mercantile Drive, Boones Ferry Road and Kruse Way at the former Providence Mercantile property.
