Emergency Preparedness Meeting – June 22, 2016

Location : Oakridge Park Senior Apartment, Community Room
Date:          June 22, 2016
Time:         7:00 – 8:45 pm

Meeting Overview
Play the Triage Game with Waluga NA E.P. coordinators.
Participation allows individuals to see the effects of their decisions from a broader perspective. Triaging/treating patients, managing resources, communication challenges, and directing operations are all part of the “team oriented play process.”
After a major disaster there are three priorities to consider:
1. Life Safety
2. Instant Stabilization
3. Property Conservation
Incident command leaders must learn how to manage distractions and usually are able to handle 3-5 tasks effectively.
Steve Dehart, Facilitator, EMS Coordinator, Lake Oswego Fire Department
